This is a lot more eloquent than I can ever say. But this is why I call myself fat in front of my closest friends. They never seem to care, or refute me when I say it, and hopefully it never makes them feel awkward around me. The more we talk about it, and say the word “fat,” the more comfortable I can feel in my own body.
